In
October 2006 our dear leader, friend and mentor Matthieu Keijser
died. We are still profoundly sad and we all miss him very much.
Matthieu was the founder and the heart and soul of Samba Nova
and of a great many other parts of the local music community.
We
are very lucky to retain in our hearts the playful and adventurous
spirit he instilled in us through samba.
