" A Celebration of the Drum "

Drumfest is the Seventh annual showcase event featuring the finest percussionists in the Atlantic Provinces. This multicultural presentation offers numerous musical styles - Mi’kmaq, Celtic, African, Caribbean, Brazilian, Middle-Eastern, Cuban, Classical and Jazz.  The evening is further diversified with its special guests including dancers, vocalists and other musicians.

Experience the exhilarating rhythms of more than 75 drummers, representing 13 different groups, in the charming setting of a 249 year old church.

New to the festival are workshops and a trade show from 12:00 am to 6:00 pm.
